Google and Chevron invest in nuclear fusion startup that has already raised $1.2 billion The startup is called TAE Technologies, a company aiming to bring about a global energy revolution by developing clean, safe, carbon-free, commercial fusion energy. Google and Chevron have invested $250 million in it. Nuclear fusion is often referred to as the holy grail of clean energy due to its ability to generate nearly unlimited energy without the emissions without the equivalent harmful, long-lived radioactive waste that nuclear fission produces. In the current world circumstances, renewable energy is one of the most pressing trends in the industry. The cool thing is that a tech giant like Google is willing to invest in such globally significant projects. What an interesting time we live in!

The release of the latter device in the Indian market seems to mark the company's return to this country after a long break.
